April
At the beginning of April, the twins crossed the big six months milestone! Its crazy to think about how far they have come in what really is a short amount of time. Yet, each one has their own distinct strengths. Adelaide is our social butterfly. She smiles and laughs constantly. She laughs at adults entertaining her, at Peter, and even laughs all on her own. Peter is physical and strong. He is up on all fours rocking. He will crawl as soon as he realizes his legs will take him forward. I think he might break his jumperoo one of these days he is so crazy in it. Here are some general pictures from this past month:
We continued to be busy this month with lots of fun activities for us and the kiddies. For Easter weekend, Steve and I rented a great house up in Tahoe and spent a couple days cross country skiing with the babies. This time around it was even more enjoyable since the twins actually seemed aware of being outside riding along in the snow. One of the days was really warm and we stopped along the trail for lunch. Here are some pictures from Easter in Tahoe:
We also started the kids in swimming lessons. They LOVE it -- almost as much as Steve and I do! The lessons are Saturday mornings - 40 minutes for 8 weeks. It is great that with two babies, Steve and I both get to participate in the lesson. A lot of people have commented that we should just teach the babies how to swim in the bath tub, but really this is sooo much better. Sure its a lot of singing and bouncing up and down but they love the splashing and are able to get adapted to water while they have no reason to be fearful. Here is a video from swim class:

At the end of the month it was finally time for some big kid fun! My mom came out to watch the kids while Steve and I got to hangout for two days with our friends for Steve's five year business school reunion. Here are pictures from some of the reunion events:
